In my reading through the Book of Kings (I & II) and Chronicles, I came across this statement several times, ‘ and the rest of the acts of … and all that he did, are they not written in the book of Chronicles…’ about every king in Israel. I did not take cognisance of the statement until this morning when I read 2Kings 24.
For the kings that did well and those that did otherwise, their deeds were written in the Chronicles. Likewise our life is on record of the King of kings in Heaven.
â€Revelation 20:12 NIV‬[12] And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Another book was opened, which is the book of life. The dead were judged according to what they had done as recorded in the books.’
The question is, what is written in the book for you? Let us think about it now that we still have the opportunity to amend our ways.
