Can man be justified with God?

Job 25:4

As I studied the Scriptures this morning, I came to Bildad, the Shuhite’s argument with Job during his hard time.

He posed this question to Job to condemn him that his suffering was as a result of his sinful way, hence he (Job) should stop justifying himself before God.

I pondered on his question and it ministered to me that of a truth, no man can be justified with God. The Bible says, ‘All have sinned and come short of God’ ((Romans 3:23). The Bible further states that, ‘There is no one righteous, no not one (Romans 3:10).

With this fact clearly stated in the Scriptures, no one can be justified with God because He is holy and cannot behold iniquity (Leviticus 19:2; I Peter 1:15; Habakkuk 1:13). What He require of us is to be holy.

Being holy is not by human power or effort, then He sent JESUS at a time like this in the history of mankind to died for humanity, that the power of sin might be broken and we be justified with God.

I John3:8‭ ‘The one who does what is sinful is of the devil, because the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the devil’s work’.

Romans 6:14‭ For sin shall no longer be your master, because you are not under the law, but under grace.

It is the finished work of Jesus at Calvary alone that can justify one with God.

‭Galatians 2:16 ‘Know that a person is not justified by the works of the law, but by faith in Jesus Christ. So we, too, have put our faith in Christ Jesus that we may be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the law, because by the works of the law no one will be justified.

The Deed is done, Christ has completed the work on the cross.

As we mark the death and resurrection of Jesus, which happened over 2000 years ago, reconsider your ways. Religion cannot justify us before God. Our good deeds are not a match to His justification.

All He requires of you is, ‘Come as you are, accept the sacrifice at Calvary into your life by confessing your sins and accept Him as your Lord and Saviour today.

Then you will be justified with God.

‭Romans 3:24 ‘and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.

‭Titus 3:7 ‘so that, having been justified by his grace, we might become heirs having the hope of eternal life.

HAPPY EASTER. SHALOM IN JESUS NAME.
